Manitoba’s workplace safety and health act requires employers to have a procedure in place for investigating accidents, dangerous occurrences, inspections, and work refusals. This workshop will help participants learn the legal obligations and steps to follow when dealing with an incident or work refusal. Every concern and certainly every refusal should be investigated, and workplace inspections must be done prior to committee meetings!

This course is geared towards safety committee members, safety representatives, owners, managers/supervisors or anyone who would be involved in incident investigation, inspections, or work refusals in the workplace.
